Financial Help
The New Learning Network is sometimes able to help it's students with any financial concerns they have. The level of this help is dependent on the situation of the student. This page should answer any questions you may have on the financial help offered by the New Learning Network.
You may be able to get financial help from the New Learning Network if you can answer 'yes' to these questions:
- Are you between 16 and 60 years of age?
- Are you living in the Neath Port Talbot County Borough?
- Are you improving your skills for employment?
If you join any course you will have access to qualified tutors and up to date equipment. The new skills that you gain will open the door to more training, new job opportunities and new friendships. Any support you receive is not means tested and any financial help you may get with travel and care costs will not affect the benefits you may get.
The New Learning Network can also help with:
- Advice on any financial concerns you may have
- Practial support for care for your children or other dependents while you are learning
- Help with course costs, travel expenses and learning materials
- Practical help with any special needs you may have
- General advice and guidance
To benefit from this you will have to complete an extra form.
