Advantages & Disadvantages

Which browser you want to use if entirely up to you. All browsers have some features which make them a more attractive option. Here is a list of the advantages & disadvantages of the two main contenders.

Microsoft Internet Explorer

Microsoft's Internet Explorer has been around since the near beginning of the world wide web. Initially involved in a heated battle with Netscape Navigator until Netscape was bought out a few years ago. The browser is the most popular on the net simply because anybody with a computer running Microsoft Windows will have a copy.

Mozilla Firefox

The new kid on the block. Firefox was developed by the non-profit organisation Mozilla after they inherited parts of the Netscape "Gecko" code. Firefox supports many new features in comparison to Internet Explorer and is constanltly in development.
