Aberdulais Local Action Centre covers the areas of Aberdulais, Cadoxton, Cilfrew and Tonna. We work with the community, for the community and in your community. The Centre is not just one building, but operates from various schools, community halls, clubs and meeting places throughout the area, in fact anywhere where local people gather and feel that they could make use of our services.

The main activity at the centre are the 45 informal adult education classes which take place throughout the area ranging from learning computer skills, to learning to play the guitar, (Click on the Satellite centres below to see exactly what is going on in the area). In addition various information days and events are held throughout the year such as the Business Start Up Information Seminar in Aberdulais.

We also offer information and guidance on any aspect of adult learning or improving your employment prospects. If we are unable to answer your questions, we may be able to refer you to others who can help. This referral service is also available for a whole host of other issues such as benefit enquiries, volunteering, funding, local projects etc.

Most importantly we want to hear from local people, for you to get involved with the activity and organisation of the Centre and also the linked recently formed Llangatwg Community Development Group.

We have a suite of 12 computers (Windows XP Pro), with Office 2003 and a colour laser printer. We have broadband internet access via a 10mb link.
