Neath Port Talbot held a Learning Festival, for NIACE�s Adult Learners� Week, on Saturday 17 May in Aberavon Shopping Centre.

Fun activities and information and advice on learning and employment opportunities made the day a huge success with many people joining in despite Cardiff playing in the F.A. Cup Final.

Part Time Degrees with DACE

The Department of Adult Continuing Education (DACE) is committed to bringing learning to the community. It is now possible to study for a Part-Time Degree in Humanities or for a named Degree in English, History or Ancient History (dependent on courses taken) at nine community venues.

NPT Adult Learning Best In Wales

In February 2007, ESTYN (Her Majesty�s Inspectorate for Education and Training in Wales) inspected Adult and Community Learning in Neath Port Talbot. The inspection results were the best in Wales to date and highlighted a number of areas of excellence.
